Thanks for the reply.
Since I wrote this I traded up to an iPhone 6S to improve performance, and more importantly, also installed iOS 11 beta.
So while modifying the Scanner app is a suggestion (and one I tried), the real point was to get to use the Structure Sensor app that is used as an uplink to Skanect to get it working with the Bridge front face plate + wide vision lens.
I was using the Scanner app just as a way to debug why the Structure Sensor app wasn't using the colorCamera.
AFAIK, the soure code for the Structure Sensor app is not available, so I can't tweak the code.
So taking a different tack, is there a case/bracket available for the iPhone 6S that woud let me use the wide vision lens?
And on a related question, what value does the wide vision lens add versus not using it, specifically as it might apply towards sending the data as an uplink to Skanect? Will the wide vision lens improve the quality of a scan, or just decrese the time to scan because it see's more at once, or maybe kinda both, because the two are related (decresed scan time leads to better scans, maybe?)
So far not been getting great quality scan's for people with just the iPhone+skanect, and would consider itseez3d, but they are iPad only, and I have the new 10.5, so no scanning bracket yet.
Oh well, any feedback/insight greatly appreciated, thanks!
