iOS11 compatibility


Is the Bridge compatible with iOS11?
I am looking to compile the Apple ARkit samples to test but don’t wish to muck up my device for the Bridge.
(I really need to get additional devices for testing :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: )


I would love to know this as well. I have been watching the forums to see if we would be getting any hints on what’s going to happen with Arkit and Bridge.


It is not compatible only because you lose your RGB camera stream to screen

, but not the sensor so you can scan in mesh detail for tracking and actually overlay your models and track them. Just no RGB camera stream to screen. This was built in Xcode 8.3 and running on iOS 11 beta 4. I will try compiling with Xcode 9 beta 4, but earlier things I am working have not faired so well.
